HBO has premiered the trailer for the first season finale of its “Game of Thrones” prequel spin-off series “House of the Dragon”.
The battle lines have been drawn as Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and her supporters usurped the Iron Throne and ushered in a reluctant King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) instead of Princess Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy).
She won’t accept the news quietly, with Aegon’s crowning serving as the triggering event for the ‘Dance of Dragons’ – a several-year civil war.
The finale of “House of the Dragon” is scheduled to premiere on HBO on Sunday October 23rd.
