The poorly reviewed Liam Neeson-led thriller “Honest Thief” debuted to just $3.7 million this weekend at the domestic box-office, even so it managed to take the top spot – pushing “Tenet” to second and “War with Granda” third.
Globally “Tenet” has just reached the one-third of a billion mark in box-office receipts, almost al of it from overseas markets, with $1.6 million domestic and $5 million in global sales total over this past weekend.
Ticket sales on all films continue to remain lackluster as apprehension among moviegoers remains high and the lack of fresh content has stalled ticket sales.
