Following her work on “Firefly,” “V” and “Homeland,” Morena Baccarin is adding another major show to her resume.
Baccarin is set to play Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a medical colleague of Bruce Wayne’s father, in FOX’s “Gotham”. The actress will make her debut in several episodes of the first season, and will be upgraded to a series regular starting next year.
In this version, Thompkins works at Arkham Asylum and becomes an ally of Detective James Gordon.
