Jake Hoffman (“Barney’s Version”) and Nikki Reed (“Twilight”) have joined the psychological thriller “Snap” at Cima Productions says Deadline
Hoffman will play a brilliant but painfully introverted musician who develops a crush on a young social worker (Reed). His inner demons spiral out of control when the romance fizzles, leading to shocking and tragic results.
Victor Teran penned the script and will co-direct with Youssef Delara. The pair worked on the hip-hop film “Filly Brown” which just premiered at Sundance.
Shooting on “Snap” kicks off March 26th. Teran says their hope is to return to 2013 Sundance with the finished film.
