“Hitman” film series producer Adrian Askarieh has optioned the film rights to David Pepose’s comic “Spencer & Locke”.
The story follows a detective whose former grade-school crush is found brutally murdered. His only recourse is to seek the help of his strange partner – the imaginary pet tiger from his childhood.
Described as “Tarantino meets Calvin & Hobbes,” Askarieh reportedly plans to package the project then submit it to Constantin Film (“Resident Evil”).
