Oscar nominee Jonah Hill is set to both produce and star in a currently untitled biopic of pro golfer John Daly for Hideout Pictures and Hill’s own Strong Baby Productions banner.
The biopic will examine the achievements and scandals of the PGA Tour golfer, considered to be the ‘Bad Boy of Golf’. A writer is currently being sought to tackle the script.
Australian filmmaker Anthony Maras (“Hotel Mumbai”) is attached to direct the project while Shannon Houchins and Potsy Ponciroli (“Old Henry”) will produce.
