Along with being the first of Marvel Studios’ series to score a formal renewal, “Loki” is also seeing its main star return to the big screen where his character was born.

THR reports that Hiddleston’s Loki character is expected to appear in the upcoming “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. They do add that Marvel has yet to confirm whether or not that’s happening.

If true, and it would seem likely after that “Loki” season finale heavily setting the stage for the new ‘Strange’ film, he would join not only the returning Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange but also Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff. Sam Raimi directs the next “Strange” which has already wrapped filming and is due for release in March.

Marvel has no shortage of work due out before then either with the “What If?” series next month, the “Shang-Chi” movie in September, the “Eternals” movie in November, a new “Spider-Man” movie in December, and new a “Hawkeye” series sometime before year’s end.
