HBO’s “Succession,” Jesse Armstrong’s award-winning dark comedy about the Roy family media dynasty, finally returns with a third season and today the official full trailer has been released.
Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall, Logan Roy stars the season in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.
Production on the third season was delayed due to the pandemic, with these episodes arriving almost two years after the second season aired its finale.
Also on board this season are Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgard, Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Hope Davis, and Korean music star Jihae Kim.
“Succession” returns on October 17th.
