HBO has premiered the official first trailer for the third season premiere of “Euphoria” which returns on April 12th 2026.
The new season arrives four years after the second season aired with events in the show having moved forward five years.
The first two seasons followed a group of high school students and how they dealt with things like drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.
In the new run, high school is long behind them as Zendaya‘s Rue, Jacob Elordi‘s Nate, Hunter Schafer’s Jule, Alexa Demie’s Maddy, and Sydney Sweeney‘s Cassie among others are out in the world trying to make a living.
Rue is trying to find a way to pay off her debt to Laurie, Jules is attending an art school, Cassie and Nate are engaged and living in the suburbs – she is an online star, and he’s a construction worker. Maddy is working at a talent agency, and Lexi becomes a showrunner’s assistant.
Sharon Stone, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Colleen Camp, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell are among the many guest stars this season.
“Euphoria” is created and written by Sam Levinson, who is also executive producing with Zendaya and Drake.
