HBO Max has released the first trailer for the third season of “Pennyworth: The Origins of Batman’s Butler,” the third season of the DC Comics-inspired series set in 1960s London.
This marks the first time the series has premiered directly on HBO Max following Epix airing the first two seasons under the name “Pennyworth”.
Jack Bannon stars as former British SAS soldier Alfred Pennyworth with the new run kicking off after a five-year time jump. The civil war is over, the revolution has changed the world and it’s now a new age of superheroes and supervillains.
Ben Aldridge, Emma Paetz, Paloma Faith, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, Ramon Tikaram, Harriet Slater and Simon Manyonda co-star.
The new season will premiere on Thursday, October 6th with three episodes followed by weekly episodes through November 24th.
