HBO Max has premiered a teaser trailer for an eight-episode second season of Alex de la Iglesia’s cult Spanish horror series “30 Coins” which premiered in late 2020.

The series follows Father Vergara, an exorcist who is exiled by the church to Pedraza, a remote village in Spain where he hopes he is forgotten by his enemies. A coin he carries, one of the thirty pieces of silver paid to Judas, ties back to an apocalyptic conspiracy involving the Holy See itself.

In the new run, several citizens of Pedraza have gone mad and been committed to a psychiatric hospital. Elena (Megan Montaner) is bedridden in Madrid while Mayor Paco (Miguel Ángel Silvestre) does his best to care for the veterinarian-turned-demon-hunter.

Filming is currently underway with a shoot running across Spain, Italy, the U.S., France and the U.K. ahead of a 2023 airing.

That’s not the only clip they’ve released today. Following its premiere at the New Year in Australia, HBO Max has premiered the U.S. trailer for the new Jamie Dornan-led thriller series “The Tourist” which begins airing from March 1st.

After being run off the road, a man wakes up in an Australian outback hospital with amnesia. A single clue starts him along a frantic journey to remember who he is and why someone wants him dead.

Finally, a new trailer is also out for the second half of the fourth season of “Young Justice: Phantoms” arriving this Spring with thirteen more episodes airing.
