HBO has released a teaser trailer for “We Are Who We Are,” an Italian-set coming of age story which is set to debut on the network in September and hails from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (“Call Me By Your Name,” “Suspiria”).
“IT” and “Shazam” breakout star Jack Dylan Grazer plays a shy and introverted fourteen-year-old named Fraser who moves from New York to a military base in Veneto with his mothers Sarah (Chloe Sevigny) and Maggie (Alice Braga).
There he meets the seemingly bold and confident Caitlin (Jordan Kristine Seaman), who has lived with her family on the base for several years and speaks Italian. Tom Mercier, Spence Moore II, Kid Cudi, Faith Alabi, Francesca Scorsese, Corey Knight, Ben Taylor, Sebastiano Pigazzi and Beatrice Barichella co-star.
