HBO has premiered a new trailer teasing their upcoming shows in 2026 with the big reveals being the first footage from the new DC Studios series “Lanterns” and the third season of network hit “Euphoria”.
Both titles get about 10-15 seconds each with several scenes, the “Lanterns” footage confirming a very grounded approach with little effects usage. A brief glimpse of the GL ring is seen in one shot.
Also shown off is new footage from “House of the Dragon” Season 3, “Dune Prophecy” Season 2, “Industry” Season 4, “The Pitt” Season 2, “Hacks” Season 5, “The Gilded Age” Season 4 and the return of “The Comeback”.
There are also clips from new series like “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “Half Man,” “Rooster,” “DTF St. Louis,” “War,” “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,” and an untitled Larry David project.
With the Netflix (or possibly Paramount) acquisition not expected to close until early 2027, next year’s HBO line-up shouldn’t be impacted by corporate goings on.
Both “The Last of Us” and “The White Lotus” are expected to return in 2027, along with the premiere of the “Harry Potter” series and potentially TV series based on “V for Vendetta” and “The Conjuring” franchise.
