Nicholas D’Agosto has been upgraded from recurring to a regular on the upcoming second season of FOX’s Batman prequel series “Gotham”.
D’Agosto was cast as a young Harvey Dent in the first season of the show with an option to become a regular. The network has now exercised that option, with the actor announcing the news on Twitter.

In this version, Dent is a bright, charming, idealistic assistant District Attorney who aims to help Jim Gordon eradicate crime and corruption. However there’s a darker side to him which will eventually emerge when he becomes Two-Face.
It’s not known at what point in the series yet that change will happen.
