Kevin Hart and filmmaker F. Gary Gray (“Straight Outta Compton,” “The Fate of the Furious”) are set to team on the heist feature “Lift” for Netflix with filming to begin early in the new year.
The spec script by Dan Kunka sees Hart playing a master thief wooed by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI into pulling off an impossible heist with his international crew onboard a London to Zurich passenger flight.
Hart, Simon Kinberg, Audrey Chon, Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan and Brian Smiley produce. Gray is next set to direct the Vin Diesel-led “Muscle”.
