Harry Lawtey (“Industry,” “The Pale Blue Eye”) has signed on to star in Todd Phillips’ “Joker: Folie à Deux” at Warner Bros. Pictures. Though his role is under wraps, it is said to be a major one in the film.
He joins Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Zazie Beetz in the film which will be set in Arkham, where Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) ends up following the first film.
Gaga will play Harley Quinn, the Arkham Asylum psychologist who falls in love with Joker. The project is also tipped to be a musical that Phillips will helm from a script co-written by Scott Silver.
“Joker: Folie à Deux” is scheduled for release on October 4th 2024.
