A recent report over on Daniel Richtman’s Patreon (via Coming Soon) indicates that according to his sources, famed character actress Harriet Harris is set to play an evil cult leader in Marvel’s upcoming “Werewolf by Night” special.
The character, Verrusa, will reportedly lead a cult from the house of Bloodstone. The monster hunter comic character Elsa Bloodstone is rumored to make an appearance in the upcoming special played by Laura Donnelly.
Currently, not a whole lot is known about the Halloween special beyond Gael Garcia Bernal starring in the lead role and the project hitting sometime later this year.
Harris is best known for her roles as Bebe Glazer on “Frasier,” Felicia Tillman on “Desperate Housewives” and memorable turns in “Addams Family Values,” “Phantom Thread,” “Nurse Betty” and “Licorice Pizza”.
