Max has had a busy day on the animation front with the release of promo trailers for three of its upcoming series.
First comes the official trailer for the fourth season of the animated comedy “Harley Quinn”, in which Harley and Ivy get acquainted with their new jobs.
Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and more show up in the new run. Sarah Peters (“Master of None”) takes over from Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker as showrunner on the new run, which is back on July 27th.
Next comes the first teaser trailer for its upcoming animated spin-off comedy “Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake”. The first two episodes will release on August 31st, followed by two episodes weekly through September 28th.
Set in the land of Ooo, the series follows the alternate universe versions of Finn & Jake on a multiverse-hopping journey towards self-discovery. When Fionna and her sidekick Cake find themselves in the crosshairs of a powerful new foe, they have no choice but to seek the help of former Ice King Simon Petrikov.
Finally, there’s the first official clip from “Young Love” based on the Oscar-winning short film “Hair Love”. Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi, Issa Rae, Loretta Devine, Tamar Braxton, Brooke Conaway and Harry Lennix lend their voices.
The Chicago-set series follows the Young-Love family as they juggle their careers, marriage, parenthood, social issues & multi-generational dynamics while trying to make a better life for themselves.
