HBO Max has handed out an official straight-to-series order for “Noonan’s,” a spinoff of its acclaimed animated “Harley Quinn” series.
The ten-episode adult animated comedy revolves around lovable loser Kite Man and his new squeeze Golden Glider as they moonlight as criminals to support their foolish purchase of Gotham City’s seediest dive bar.
It’s a place where everybody knows your name, but not necessarily your secret identity. Matt Oberg will lead the voice cast as Kite Man.
Dean Lorey, Kaley Cuoco, Sam Register, Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker will executive produce. Lorey will serve as showrunner.
The series pickup arrives ahead of the third season of “Harley Quinn” returning in the summer.
