Former “Happy Endings” star Damon Wayans Jr. is reuniting with that series’ creator David Caspe and writers Matthew and Daniel Libman for a new half-hour bounty hunter action comedy at Peacock
NBCU’s streaming platform has handed out a script-to-series commitment for the project which is part of a first-look deal at CBS TV Studios for Wayans Jr.’s Two Shakes Entertainment label. CBS TV Studios and Universal Television are producing.
Written by the Libman brothers, who also worked on “Robot Chicken,” the action comedy revolves around a struggling married couple who become bounty hunters. Wayans Jr. will play the husband and executive produces.
