FX has released another teaser trailer for the fifth season of its seasonal anthology series “Fargo,” a show which this time unfolds in Minnesota and North Dakota in 2019.
This season follows Dorothy ‘Dot’ Lyon (Juno Temple) after an unexpected series of events lands her in hot water with the authorities. This plunges the seemingly typical Midwestern housewife back into a life she thought she had left behind.
Also in the new season are “Mad Men” alum Jon Hamm, “Stranger Things” breakout star Joe Keery, veteran Jennifer Jason Leigh, actor/comedian Lamorne Morris, and British thesp Sam Spruell.
The new teaser focuses on Hamm’s character, who seems to be something of a sinister presence as he walks into a cafe and demands a coffee whilst the other patrons look on with trepidation.
Creator Noah Hawley returns to executive produce alongside Warren Littlefield, Steve Stark, Kim Todd, and Joel and Ethan Coen. MGM Television and FX Productions produce, with Amazon and MGM Studios distributing outside North America.
The series joins FX’s Fall slate including the just premiered “American Horror Story: Delicate,” and the upcoming “A Murder at the End of the World”. The new run of “Fargo” will premiere on the service on November 21st.
