“Halo Infinite” Set For Fall 2021 Release

Microsoft has set a Fall 2021 release window for what was supposed to be the Xbox Series X’s flagship launch title – “Halo Infinite”.

The game will now arrive a year later than initially scheduled and to go with the news the company has unveiled a series of new images and details from the game as part of the 343 Day events. The update was posted on the official blog.

The news comes in the wake of the disastrous game campaign demo back in July which showed off gameplay for the first time. While the play itself was fine, the work in progress title’s terrible graphics were widely lambasted.

Speaking about that in the posting, the game’s art director Neill Harrison says: “The primary goal for the Campaign demo in July was showing Halo Infinite gameplay for the first time. While that aspect generally landed as we wanted, the reality is that the art and visuals weren’t at the bar we hold for Halo – even in a work-in-progress state. We are working tirelessly to deliver the best possible Halo experience to you all.”
