Microsoft and 343 Industries have premiered a new six-minute trailer for the single-player campaign of their biggest title of the year – “Halo Infinite”.
The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced.
As Cortana went rogue at the end of the last game, this time he’ll be partnering with a new AI codenamed ‘The Weapon’ who was engineered as a direct countermeasure to Cortana. The new title introduces players to: “true Spartan freedom in the biggest, most wide-open and adventure-filled” title in the franchise yet.
“Halo Infinite” is scheduled for a release on December 8th though campaign co-op and classic forge modes will come at a later date.
