“Halloween” 1, 4 & 5 Return To Cinemas

John Carpenter’s original 1978 slasher classic “Halloween,” along with the fourth and fifth films from 1988 & 1989, are returning to theaters and drive-ins once again following recent re-releases during the pandemic.

CineLife Entertainment, Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films are partnering to bring “Halloween,” “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers” and “Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers” to the big screen with 670 screenings planned in roughly 417 theaters later this month.

The fourth and fifth films are essentially a two-parter and deal with Myers escaping from the sanitarium and attempting to kill Laurie Strode’s daughter Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris). The recent Blumhouse “Halloween” trilogy effectively ignores the events of those two films.
