Filmmaker James Gunn has revealed that he’s involved in another DC TV project after HBO Max’s upcoming “Peacemaker” series.
Speaking with Collider to promote “Peacemaker,” the director didn’t reveal if the upcoming project is another spinoff of “The Suicide Squad”. He does say more details about the project will be forthcoming very soon and it’s definitely for TV.
He also confirms to Screen Rant that all of the scenes involving Vigilante across the first five-and-a-half episodes of “Peacemaker” had to be reshot.
Actor Freddie Stroma took over the role midway through production after the originally cast Chris Conrad exited due to creative differences. Gunn confirmed he personally reshot all Conrad’s scenes with Stoma for those five and a half episodes.
Gunn is currently filming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and its tie-in holiday special for Marvel Studios.
