“Guardians” Showing Up In New “Thor”?

“Avengers: Endgame” closed out with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor seemingly going off with the “Guardians of the Galaxy” out into space somewhere, so naturally questions arose as to whether he will be involved in James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” which has yet to begin shooting.

Turns out people were asking about the wrong film. Vin Diesel, who voices Groot in the ‘Guardians’ films, has been doing promotional rounds for his new film “Bloodshot” and tells Comicbook.com that not only is his character more an ‘Alpha Groot’ this time, but suggests some of his crewmates will appear in Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Love and Thunder”:

“I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park. He took ‘The Suicide Squad’ so he’s about to embark on it. ‘Thor’ will also, the director talked to me about ‘Thor’ [which] will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy. That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”

Whoops. “Thor: Love and Thunder” is slated to shoot in the second half of this year at Fox Studios in Sydney while “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” hasn’t set filming dates or location yet but will likely be early 2021.
