Frank Grillo is set to join Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek in “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard,” a sequel to the 2017 action comedy “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”.
The story follows bodyguard Michael Bryce (Reynolds), who is enlisted by Jackson and Hayekâs characters to join them on a mission along the Amalfi Coast.
Grillo is tipped to play an Interpol agent who needs Reynolds, Jackson, and Hayekâs help to prevent a cyber attack in Europe.
Patrick Hughes will direct again from a script by Tom O’Connor and filming begins in March. The first film grossed more than $176 million globally.
