“Da Vinci’s Demons” and “Constantine” producer David S. Goyer is keeping busy and has added yet another small screen project to his plate.
Goyer will serve as co-developer/executive producer of an event series adaptation of Peter Straub’s 1980 dark fantasy novel “Shadowland”.
The story centers on two young boys who spend a summer with one of their uncles, a man who is one of the foremost magicians in the world and who may be an actual sorcerer.
Goyer will co-write the adaptation with BAFTA-winning British writer Jack Thorne, the latter is currently penning a film adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” comics. Straub’s son, Benjamin Straub will serve as co-producer.
