Raja Gosnell (“Scooby-Doo,” “Big Momma’s House”) has signed on to direct the Walt Disney Pictures comedy “South of the Border” says The Hollywood Reporter.
A live-action movie in which the animals will talk, “South” chronicles the adventures of Chloe, a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua accustomed to riding in a purse.
While on a vacation in Mexico, she gets lost and must rely on her friends to help her get back home. The script was written by Analisa Labianco.
