Out briefly doing promotion for “The Gray Man” whilst having a brief break from filming Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” actor Ryan Gosling has put one recent rumor to rest.
The other day came talk that he had been approached by Marvel Studios to star in the “Nova” movie which the studio has been developing.
Journalist Joshua Horowitz spoke with Gosling for MTV News and while the interview hasn’t been released yet, Horowitz tweeted that Gosling confirmed to him the “Nova” rumors are completely untrue.
Horowitz also revealed that Gosling is actually interested in talking to Marvel Studios… about playing the motorcycle-riding, flaming skull hero Ghost Rider.
The character has been adapted to the screen before in both the Nic Cage-led films, and with Gabriel Luna playing him on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. At present, there’s no indication another incarnation of the character is in the works.
