Eiza Gonzalez (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Ambulance”) is in negotiations to join the cast of the sci-fi series “Three-Body Problem” at Netflix. Specifics of her role are under wraps.
Based on Liu Cixin’s Hugo Award-winning novel trilogy, the story deals with humanity’s first contact with an alien civilization, the story running from the 1960s on Earth until the end of time in the distant fringes of the universe.
Alexander Woo (“The Terror: Infamy”) will write and executive produce alongside Rian Johnson, and “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
