Sony has announced that in just three days after its release, the highly critically acclaimed new “God of War” game release has become the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 exclusive to date.
Over 3.1 million units were sold in that 72 hour period, to compare the previous entries in the game series sold over 4 million units throughout their shelf life – putting this on track to set a new sales record.
In the new game, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfil a deeply personal quest.
