Former MMA fighter and “Deadpool” actress Gina Carano has shared a black-and-white photo from the set of the second season of “The Mandalorian”.
The photo includes the caption announcing that she’s finished shooting her scenes as former Rebel Shock-Trooper Cara Dune. Production on the new season was already underway before the first season even aired – meaning the entire season should be finishing up shooting imminently.
What part her character will play in the continuing story is unclear at present, but it’s assumed she’ll once again team with the titular bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) against Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).
The second season of “The Mandalorian” is due to air in the Fall.
