Giacchino Set To Compose New “Jurassic”

In some not so surprising news, composer Michael Giacchino is returning to handle the score for the upcoming “Jurassic World: Dominion,” has signed on for the currently in production project which has just suspended shooting for two weeks.

Film Music Reporter broke the news. Giacchino composed both the 2015 and 2017 previous entries, picking up on the work from original “Jurassic Park” composer John Williams. Giacchino is also doing the score for the upcoming “The Batman,” and is coming off both “Jojo Rabbit” and “Spider-Man: Far from Home” last year.

The new “Jurassic World” film is set to bring back many of the key players from the “Jurassic Park” films like Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern in a movie that’s expected to serve as an ending to both film series.
