Netflix has released a final trailer for its upcoming series “Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045” which also reveals the show’s launch date – April 23rd.
The series follows full-body cyborg Major Motoko Kusanagi and her second-in-command Batou, former members of Public Security Section 9, who have been reassembled in the aftermath of an event referred to as the Synchronized Global Default that caused The Sustainable War.
Once again they get ready to face off against cybercrime in the post-human world. The new series boasts a distinct animation style and will consist of two seasons with twelve episodes in each. Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki direct.
