George Clooney’s “Midnight Sky” Hits 2020

George Clooney’s latest directorial effort has been retitled “The Midnight Sky” (from “Good Morning, Midnight”), has just wrapped filming, and has been set for release before year’s end via Netflix.

Clooney helms and stars in this film adaptation of the Lily Brooks-Dalton novel which is a survival tale set in the wake of a mysterious global catastrophe. He plays a scientist, alone in the Arctic, who is racing to contact and stop a spacecraft, its commander Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning to Earth.

Kyle Chandler, Demian Bechir, David Oyelowo co-star in the film which was adapted by “The Revenant” screenwriter Mark L. Smith and is described as ‘haunting’ by Clooney himself.
