“Gen V” Season 2 Trailer, Moriarty Joins

Amazon

Amazon Prime has premiered the trailer for the second season of its “The Boys” spin-off series “Gen V” following the show’s panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

School is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new dean (Linklater) preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever.

Cate (Phillips) and Sam (Asa Germann) are celebrated heroes, while Marie (Sinclair), Jordan (Thor), and Emma (Lizze Broadway) reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss. But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between humans and supes, both on and off campus.

The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.

Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh and Hamish Linklater and showrunner Michele Fazekas all turned up for the panel while Chace Crawford, who will reprise his role as The Deep in season two, also appeared.

In addition, it was confirmed that Erin Moriarty’s Starlight will appear in the new season, while “Wicked” actor Ethan Slater has joined the cast as Thomas Godolkin. Sean Patrick Thomas has also been made a series regular for season two.

“Gen V” is set to arrive on September 17th.
