Gary Oldman To Lead Apple’s “Slow Horses”

Oscar winner Gary Oldman will make his TV series regular debut in “Slow Horses,” a straight-to-series Apple TV+ drama based on Mick Herron’s book series first published in 2010.

The story follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 — Slough House. Oldman is Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes.

Will Smith (“Veep”) will pen the script while and will executive produce with Graham Yost, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux and Douglas Urbanski. See-Saw Films will produce.
