AMC+ released a new teaser trailer for the second season of Gareth Evans’ ultraviolent series “Gangs of London” about the underground war for London’s crime empire.
One year after the death of Sean Wallace and the violent reckonings of season one, the map and soul of London have been redrawn. The surviving Wallaces are scattered, the Dumanis broken and estranged, and ex-undercover cop Elliot Finch is now being forced to work for the Investors.
As the Investors look down on a city sliding into chaos they decide enough is enough and bring in reinforcements to restore control. Who will win the battle for London’s soul?
Michelle Fairley, Paapa Essiedu, Lucian Msamati and Orli Shuka lead the returning cast while Waleed Zuaiter, Jasmine Armando, Fady El-Sayed, Salem Kali, and Aymen Hamdouchi join the line-up this season which will air later this year.
That’s not the only series releasing a second season trailer today as Apple TV+ has released the teaser for the sophomore run of their recently premiered Gary Oldman-led spy drama “Slow Horses”.
The new season adapts the novel “Dead Lions” and sees sleeper agents embedded in various places in British society having been reactivated and pose a threat to MI5’s Slough House team. The new six-episode run has already been filmed but hasn’t set an air date as yet.
