Sky and AMC+ gritty organised crime series “Gangs of London” has scored a third season renewal order.

The order comes just under two weeks after the second season of the series premiered in the U.S. on the AMC+ service.

The show follows how London is torn apart by the turbulent power struggles of the international gangs that control it and the sudden power vacuum created when following key assassinations.

The series has been a major hit for Sky following its creation by “The Raid” filmmaker Gareth Evans and his creative partner Matt Flannery. Evans exited after the first season with Corin Hardy taking over as director.

No word as yet on whom may helm the third season. The cast of the second season included Sope Dirisu, Paapa Essiedu, Lucian Msamati, Michelle Fairley, Orli Shuka, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Brian Vernel, Narges Rashidi, Asif Raza Mir, Valene Kane, Jahz Armando, Fady El-Sayed, Waleed Zuaiter, Salem Kali, and Aymen Hamdouchi.
