Electronic Arts has revealed the first trailer and poster for “Star Wars Squadrons”.
The new game was accidentally revealed by the official Xbox.com website posting. Despite prompt removal, the evidence was screenshotted and shared widely forcing EA to reveal its hand.
The game sees you as a member of a five-person flight squadron piloting iconic Star Wars ships in aerial and space battles both in a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. You appear to have ability to fly for either the Rebels or the Empire.
The title is also said to be on a smaller scale than EA’s other recent releases for the franchise like “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” and “Star Wars: Battlefront 2”.
Dubbed ‘Project Maverick’ whilst in development, the title is coming to PC and consoles on October 2nd and will probably show off more footage during EA Play Live next week.
