Aunjanue Ellis, Boyd Holbrook, Adelaide Clemens, Vondie Curtis Hall, Marin Ireland, Norbert Leo Butz, Victor Williams and Vivian Olyphant are joining FX’s “Justified” follow-up series “Justified: City Primeval”.
Timothy Olyphant reprises his iconic role of Raylan Givens who now lives in Miami and is still a U.S. Marshal whilst also part-time father of a teenage girl (played by Olyphant’s real life daughter Vivian).
A chance encounter on a Florida highway sees him crossing paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman – a violent sociopath who has already slipped through the fingers of the Detroit cops and aims to do so again.
Holbrook will portray Mansell, Clemens is Mansell’s girlfriend Sandy, Ellis is Mansell’s formidable lawyer Carolyn Wilder who has her own agenda, Hall plays local bar owner and conwoman Sweety, Ireland plays a Detroit cop while Butz and Williams play Detroit detectives.
The new series hails from showrunners Dave Andron and Michael Dinner, who executive produce alongside Olyphant, Graham Yost, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly, Taylor Elmore and Chris Provenzano. Filming begins this week in Chicago.
