TriStar Pictures has won the rights to Dan Slater’s Mexican cartel-themed book “Wolf Boys” with Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day,” “The Equalizer”) attached to direct and produce.
The story follows two American teens recruited as killers for a Mexican cartel. The pair are pursued by a Mexican-American detective who realizes the War on Drugs is unwinnable.
Fuqua is in post-production on his “The Magnificent Seven” remake starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.
