Full Trailer: “Wednesday” Season 2

Netflix

Following April’s teaser trailer and May’s release of the first six minutes, Netflix has now premiered the full-length trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its smash hit dark comedy/horror series “Wednesday”.

Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams and is joined by four returnees who’ve been upgraded to regulars for the new season – Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones as her parents Gomez and Morticia, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Ritchie Santiago.

Emma Myers and Hunter Doohan also return while joining the cast for the new run are Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Noah Taylor, Evie Templeton, Joanna Lumley, Thandwie Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Christopher Lloyd and Lady Gaga.

The new season will be darker, more daring and have more of a horror tone than the first, eschewing the high school romance angle. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are the writers and showrunners, with Tim Burton executive producing and directing several episodes.

‘Part 1’ hits the service on August 6th and ‘Part 2’ arrives on September 3rd. The first season is Netflix’s most-watched English-language series and scored four Emmy wins from twelve nominations.
