Just a few weeks after the teaser deubted as a part of WitcherCon, Netflix has unviled the full trailer for the animated feature “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”.
The project serves as a prequel spin-off film to their popular live-action series adaptation of “The Witcher” fantasy novels and video games. That series premieres its second season in December.
Before Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir – a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.
The film’s voice cast includes Theo James, Lara Pulver, Graham McTavish, and Mary McDonnell. “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf” arrives on August 23rd.
