A24 has premiered the first trailer for “A Ghost Story,” “Pete’s Dragon” and “The Old Man and the Gun” filmmaker David Lowery’s “The Green Knight”.
A retelling of the medieval tale of ‘Sir Gawain and the Green Knight,’ the fantasy epic sees Patel playing the knight of King Arthur’s Round Table who accepts the challenge of beheading the Green Knight.
He must wait a year and a day to receive a blow in return. Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie and Barry Keoghan star in this take which was originally slated to open last Summer. It will now arrive in cinemas on July 30th.
