Hulu has premiered the full trailer for its eight-episode limited series “Mike” starring Trevante Rhodes (“Moonlight,” “Bird Box”) as Mike Tyson along with Harvey Keitel, Scott MacDonald, Kale Browne and B.J. Minor.
The story follows the dynamic and controversial life of the heavyweight champion boxing icon, including the infamous ear-biting incident, and one of the most polarizing figures in sports culture.
The project hails from creator/screenwriter Steven Rogers, “I, Tonya” writer/director Craig Gillespie, and showrunner Karin Gist (“Our Kind of People”). “Mike” will premiere on the service on August 25th. Tyson himself is not in any way involved with the series.
