Disney has premiered the new trailer for “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild,” a sixth film in the “Ice Age” animated franchise which shifts the focus towards some of the supporting characters.
Thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own but soon find themselves trapped beneath the ice in a massive cave inhabited by dinosaurs. They are rescued by the one-eyed, adventure-loving weasel Buck Wild, and together embark on a mission to save this Lost World.
The cast includes Simon Pegg as Buck, Seann William Scott as Crash, and Josh Peck as Eddie. John C. Donkin directs from a script by Ray DeLaurentis and William Schifrin.
20th Century Animation takes over the work on the film from Blue Sky Studios which did the first five features. “Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild” will release directly on Disney+ on January 28th.
