HBO has premiered a new trailer for the third season of its Bill Hader-led dark comedy series “Barry” which returns to screens three years after the second season wrapped.
The series follows an assassin who goes undercover in a Los Angeles acting troupe for a hit and falls in love with life as a thespian. He’s forced to balance his desire to leave his old life against various pressures.
The new season is said to skew darker than the previous one and features five episodes directed by Hader himself. Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, Anthony Carrigan and Sarah Goldberg all return for the eight-episode third season which premieres on April 24th.
