Following a tease the other month, the full trailer has arrived for filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s new adaptation of William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel “Nightmare Alley” which opens in cinemas on December 17th.
Bradley Cooper stars as a manipulative carnival worker who falls in love with a mysterious, dangerous psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett). Willem Dafoe, Rooney Mara, Toni Collette, Tim Blake Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, Richard Jenkins, Ron Perlman and David Strathairn co-star.
The project marks del Toro’s first directorial effort since the Best Picture Oscar win for “The Shape of Water”. Check out the clip and the new poster below.
